Group Facilities Manager

Sherborne Schools Group is seeking an exceptional Group Facilities Manager to lead and develop our soft services provision across our prestigious family of schools. Electrician

Sherborne Schools Group is seeking a skilled, proactive and customer-focused Electrician to join our Estates Team and help maintain the high-quality learning, boarding and working environments across our prestigious school sites. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrical professional to work across a diverse and historic estate, carrying out installation, maintenance, testing and repair work while ensuring our facilities remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose for pupils, staff and visitors alike.

Working closely with colleagues across the Estates Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the Group's electrical infrastructure. From fault finding and planned preventative maintenance to supporting improvement projects, inspections and compliance activities, no two days will be the same. The role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of systems and equipment, including lighting and power systems, building management systems, security and access control systems, electrical plant, motors and data cabling infrastructure.

As part of a collaborative and highly regarded Estates function, you will contribute to the smooth operation and ongoing development of facilities across the Sherborne Schools Group. You will be trusted to work independently, manage your own workload and respond effectively to both planned and reactive maintenance requirements, while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety and customer service. Participation in the out-of-hours call-out rota and occasional support for School events will be required, making this a varied and rewarding role where your expertise will have a direct impact on the wider school community.
