Not all superheroes wear capes, but they do wear running shoes.... Upper Sixth prefect, Thomas L, set himself an incredible challenge this year. Having run 100km in 1 day in January, he followed this up with 200km in two days over the exeat weekend in March. He topped this off with a mind-boggling run of 400km in 4 days in September. The whole school cheered him off and welcomed him back into the Courts. The purpose of his challenge was to raise funds for the BBC Children In Need Appeal. You can help him reach his goal at - Thomas Langley is fundraising for BBC Children in Need. |

Congratulations to Freddie (U6e) and Jerry (U6f), who were shortlisted for the Trinity College Gould prize for essays in English Literature and John Locke Institute 2024 Global Essay prize for Economics respectively earlier this term. Jerry attended the Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner at The Great Room in Grosvenor House, Mayfair, while Freddie visited Trinity College. Commenting after the event, Freddie said, "Having spent an afternoon at Trinity College in discussion with Fellows and other entrants, I am filled with hope for our subject. The study of literature has experienced recent decline nationally within our schools but given time and further thought in approach I am firm believer this can change."
